It was terrifying because no one had done it before. There was no predecessor to study, no reference manual to consult, and no peer group to turn to for validation. I had no blueprint. I didn’t understand what was happening to me.
All I knew was that I was sitting down every morning in acute personal pain, desperate for help. When I began automatic writing in 1989, I was suffering through career failures, financial loss, emotional isolation, and debilitating physical breakdowns.
Because I had reached the absolute end of myself, I was finally willing to listen.

In 2019, I published my book, Overcoming Fear: A Guide to Freedom.
